The answer is TuneSleeve if you use Windows. You can tell from the background that Pascal writes on the TuneSleeve page that he had great goals and alot of experienced thinking around it. He probably tried all of the other terrible artwork downloading “programs” just like I did. It hit every mark on the list: full albums, artwork choices, optional external search per album, optional playlist selection (which is handy for the first time you run it and happen to have 16k songs like myself), and the option to append, overwrite, or exclude albums with existing artwork. If you’re anal about your album artwork like I am, be sure to give it a try.

On a related note, I am having trouble with a small percentage of my music files which are not saving/holding their artwork. They are not read-only, are listed as ID3 v2.4, and other songs from the same album work just fine. If someone can suggest something else to try or check, please do.
IF YOU DIDN’T GET THESE FROM A BURNED DISC OR DVD THIS WILL NOT HELP YOU. Well i had that problem to with the music but not the artwork. They are prob. connected in some way or another. DID YOU GET THESE SONGS FROM A BURNED DISK OR DVD? I got aroung 400 song from a burned dvd and after a while it said they could not me found. That usually means that the burning was not completly finished. Usually the computer has softwere to do this automaticly , but in some cases it doeasn’t. The only option is to get rid of them. Wait… you could try reburning the dvd or cd, but be warned I’m not sure if it will work.
